Wouldn’t think you’d want a cup of coffee just before nap time.

Coffee break, THEN naptime? Isn’t that a contradiciton in terms? The coffee will keep you awake so you won’t have naptime1 ;D

When I first started drinking coffee to pull all-nighters in school, I kept awake and had trouble finally getting to sleep. At this stage of life, I can fall asleep WHILE drinking coffee.

I wonder if the coffee companies have take some of the caffeine out so people will drink more for the same caffeine effect and thus have to buy more coffee.

I don’t know about the plugger, but coffee has never interfered with my nap time.

It takes half an hour, or so, for the caffeine to kick in. Supposedly, by having a cup of coffee before a short nap you’ll wake up refreshed and ready to go.

Could be he’s taking a “napaccino” break. The idea is to get in a nap before the caffeine gets assimilated by your digestive system – a real “thing”.

Caffeine never made me more awake just made me able to concentrate on doing actual work so coffee and a nap almost makes sense to me haha.

(sigh) I wish. Still have to work. Right now, it seems like the job (delivering food for the county Senior Nutrition program) needs me more than I need it.

Husband never drank coffee. I have not done so in years to decades as my stomach could no longer deal with black coffee.

I have been debating tossing out jars of instant coffee in the fridge (stopped brewing coffee just for me and we haven’t had people in the house in over decade – did not want to get bedbugs – could not deal with it again) the regular coffee is good until 2017 and the decaf until 2013.
