He sold out a long time ago.

The non-sippy says “World’s best sugar daddy”. And the rolled up newspaper (I guess) headline is: “Billionaire Buys SCOTUS Justice Yells at Statue”

But Clarence isn’t THAT kind of crook. He wouldn’t try to sell the whole court. In fact, he seems kind of penny ante to me. That kind of payoff for ruining his place in history wouldn’t be anywhere NEAR enough for me if I were in a position to make such choices.

He’s going to rename the “Supreme Court” to the “Hitler Fan Club”.

Well, I’m still proud to be an American, even though some in power (Yes the Orange Profanity, too), seem to think it’s all for their benefit alone. Scum does float to the top, huh?

Sadly, Thomas isn’t the only sell out to the Repub fascist agenda.

Just can’t get all worked up over this issue. Not unlike actions taken by other SCOTUS members over the years. Yet the left seems to think this instance is different.

And that begs the question why. Is the true motive getting Thomas off the court so they can appoint a left leaning justice? Perhaps the Democrats still struggle with their racial ghosts from the past and just can’t handle a black justice not supporting all their positions. Even the President has set that tone with his comments of how blacks should vote in an election – “If you have a problem figuring out whether you’re for me or Trump then you ain’t black,”. Does the same sentiment apply to SCOTUS votes?

Sure there are issues with justices and their gifts from friends and others. But this seems to be a case of a black justice having a very rich white friend. And many of the Democrats just can’t deal with that.

The goal, for the one above asking the question, is to uncover and remove from office corrupt and biased judges. Most that trump put in place are totally unqualified and inappropriate. Kav for example or that idiot in Texas.If the replacement is more centrist, all the better. Wee don’t need left wing judges to make good decisions, they just need to not be extremist members of the American Taliban.

Lady Justice should be holding her nose and the sword should be running through her, because that is what’s happening in this country.

American billionaires live in a very different world from us. They don’t fear crime: they live in gated mansions with private security. They don’t need to interact with us when they travel: they’re driven wherever they go in bulletproof limousines or helicopters and fly on private jets so they don’t ever have to go through airport security or even show ID.

Their kids don’t attend public schools or colleges; their servants, masseuses, nannies, mistresses, and chefs often live on the grounds of their estates; when they vacation, they fly private jets to their private yachts that have enough staterooms to accommodate their closest 100 or so friends. Just ask Clarence and Ginny Thomas.

Some of us think some conduct is not excusable or condonable, regardless of the political stripe of the culprit. Some of us remember when in our youth, we tried to mollify our parents with the excuse “all the other kids are doing it.” It was childish, but we were children. Persons in power, theoretically, are not children. So it’s more than childish to offer such a defense for indefensible conduct. I realize such a position makes me “woke” (whatever that means), but excusing by accepting such conduct from anyone is a betrayal of the very values we claim to aspire to.

The more self entitled scum like C Thomas and D rump are scrutinized the more slime is exposed. I see Roberts doesn’t want any part of an ethics investigation into C T. The court really is becoming a GQP filled laughting stock.
