Traffic reporter Bob believed it was easier to make the news, then report it.

“And I caused it”.

Years ago Portland had one traffic helicopter from each station, you would see them flying all over the place in the early mornings and late afternoons. One morning one of the more liked reporters and stations mentioned that the were having problems with the chopper, and would be setting it down at one of the freeway exits, causing the mornings traffic jam. “Sorry folks, the delay this morning is caused by me!”
