My Grandfather had selective hearing …. he’d be in the living room and you’d say something to him …. he might respond or not …… “BUT” …. be out in the kitchen and say something really low that you didn’t really want him to hear and sure as can be, he’d make some comment about it or he’d say “I heard that” …… :)
