Maybe that’s why all those spies thought that there was static on their listening devices.

We sold some computer hardware & software to Bulgaria, back when they were still behind the iron curtain; and a co-worker and I spent many weeks in Sofia, training their staff. In our hotel room, we would routinely talk to the walls as if they were listening.

I’ve been told that the government can monitor you through you cell phone, so occasionally I pick it up and ask “are you bored yet?”

And now people buy the bugging tools – e.g. Alexa, mobile phones

Of course, we invite in Alexa, Siri, etc. etc., all in the name of “convenience.” Like we can’t turn on our own lights or something.

People don’t think these things through, do they?

They were lucky, we have to pay for our devices that spy on us!

In current times, United States citizens routinely bug their own homes so Big Tech could listen in on them.

Well with todays smart phones, the government can listen to you, watch you and track your movements. Ain’t science wonderful.
