You might arrange the onion rings into a smiley face in the Tater Tot opening. Maybe snack a few more Tots to make room. Or the 3D shape of a butte as an homage to the local landscape.
I always thought hot dish = casserole. Is there something else going on? I never had tater tots in any casserole I was served and I suddenly feel deprived.
