Is this the game that Gil took Meemaw to, yesterday? Or was that a baseball game, that we haven’t seen yet? It would be nice to tell one story and then another one instead of randomly jumping around between stories that last just one day.

WOW ! How in the world can she whack it out of a BASEBALL field, where the fence are much deeper than in softball ??? There is no attention to detail in this strip !!!

But crying and growling are no way to embrace failure.

So…this is the softball game, and not the baseball game we saw just yesterday? And did the Goshen batter just hit a six-run homer to clinch the 7-1 win? And how exactly do you hit the ball very far at all with the bat in that position?

I guess that I was wrong….Milford actually does lose occasionally

I’m amazed at the psychic powers of the announcer who knows it’s going, going, gone as soon as it’s hit. And…. again… ‘krak’ is not a sound made by aluminum bats.

Yesterday in P1, the scene was Milford baseball field. I asked the question will this be a baseball or softball game? My point is show some consistency and tighten these loose threads.

P1- That Goshen batter is a freak hitting that tater out of a baseball park.

Goshen wins with a walk-off bunt.

It takes longer to say “W” than it does to say “win.”

So the coach is telling them to cry over a GAME?

MeeMaw is not a good luck charm.

Milford got their butts whipped, but at least Meemaw got to hear the “krak!” of the bat!

Looks like Dorothy is the only pitcher on this team. She starts every game and pitches to the end regardless of the score.

Actually, walk-off is never really mentioned, but insinuated by big-time JV radio / PA announcer. The dumb coaches just left their pitcher in too long and she got rocked. Maybe Inma muffed a couple easy fly balls too
