I think it was Pliny the Elder that said leaving out a jar of grain over night will cause the spontaneous generation of mice.

Look up the crap Aristotle said about science. The world was still believing it until Galileo and Newton actually checked it out.

Why does future person wear a cape?
Aristotle was a smart guy. The problem was that people didn’t question his work. Most science these days is about disproving existing theory or at least accepting that what we know now may not be the Answer.
So, one of the Daft Punk robots visited Aristotle! That may explain the weirdness of Western philosophy!
It’s funny that Aristotles ideas cause so much friction, a force he was ignorant of.
