As others have noted, Wally seems to have more characteristics of Cracked Cat after this “blending” (for lack of a better term). I don’t think “pre-restored” Wally would have been as stoic about their group’s current circumstances. Instead, he would plan what to do next, covering all contingencies, not just relaxing and waiting to see what happens.
I like how we are going from a “movie” frame to a old US TV frame size to a news paper cartoon frame size. I wonder if our story telling wizard will be going back to the 2X2 frame style just as our heroes are heading back to either eden or the world of endtown?
Device issues made my on-line presence sketchy force couple of days…So great to get past “resigned to annihilation Marx”, and on with the journey for the boys. I’m sure they will find Marx (version 8M +1) on the end of the trip; but for now lie back and enjoy said trip seems a good plan.
I don’t think Crackally’s attitude is because he’s crazy. In the Endtown that we know, characters can be killed. Yet, they can also heal quickly because of the grex with doodleverse. Most Endtowners seem not to notice this. But, in the full Cardoodle plane, cartoon physics prevail. (we’ve just seen it destroyed, but that was another grex event.) Characters in Cardoodle plane don’t die, and apparently get blown up (and otherwise injured) regularly. How would those characters feel about that? Would they remember being blown up multiple times? Does it hurt? Would they become complacent about injury, or even worry about it? Crackally remembers all of his inventions and his life as Cracky, he mentioned that it was all a waste. Does he just expect to survive whatever happens anyway? I think he does, and this accounts for his current attitude. That’s my theory, and it’s mine.
It is kind of restful watching them “fall;” like watching fish in an aquarium. First a picnic with a lesson on Pastrami sandwiches, then celestial fireworks, now an after picnic nap. Endtown is generally an edgy apocalyptic storyline, but Neathery does know when to give his characters some R&R.
I think that the only place that they can go to fix the Dimensional Kerfluffle Problem is back to the Eden Project Labs. It is where the problem started. BUT…the Eye had been causing mayhem there. When we saw “our” Wally get killed when his dittos absorbed Eye, I think that was just a fragment of it. Going back to the Project could be messy. We haven’t heard anything from Terrance in a long time…but his expertise may be needed soon. Or (as one commenter suggested) his silence will soon burst into a Donald Duck-style tantrum.

Alan doesn’t think that Wally realizes the gravity of the situation…

So, if there is no wind, and no apparent reference points, how does Alan know that they are falling down? They could be falling up.

Marx be praised, this isn’t the end of the strip. After following it for thirteen years, I’d like a fair number more answers. Or at least resolution.

Not enough Wally, too much Cracked Cat.

They’re going to fall into an ancient issue of “Cracked” magazine!!

Wally has definitely matured since being killed off. Maybe that’s why the idea of dying again has lost its edge.

Wally is 100% correct. Like Frankie sez… RELAX In the meantime, enjoy the brief static between the channels while Marx spins the dial.

Wally has Cracked! Or, possibly, Cracky has Wallied.

At least someone is being calm about this. Probably because he’s as cracked as the Liberty Bell.

Even Loki didn’t enjoy falling for 30+ minutes straight, and he’s an Asgardian God. Wally being 75% comic book character is effecting his thoughts.
