On my church’s 125th Anniversary, we opened the cornerstone, which had been sealed 50 years before. After viewing the artifacts within, we sealed it up again with a second container from our era. One of the things we put in was an iPad with many photos and movies of congregational activities, as well as photographs of all the pages in the scrapbooks dating back over a hundred years. We also put in the power supply for the iPad, so that future generations could power it up. This should work unless future generations don’t have 110v AC available.
Whether at home or on the road it’s nice to know if I should interrupt what I’m doing or pull over to answer the phone. So for my immediate family I’ve set their ringtones to “Ride of the Valkyries”. Everybody else has the default ringtone to be ignored until I feel like dealing with them.
Don’t mess with a mans mobile device. iPhone or Android, we take that stuff very seriously. It’s our lifeline to everything we know and hold dear. Like 911 and all that. (Kids know what I mean).
He’s more worried about his phone than the car keys? The phone can be replaced. He probably needs one that is simpler that he knows how to operate anyway.

All of a sudden a voice calls out from the ground :“We’re trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.”
Followed by, “This is Rachel, from card member services.”

Here’s Lou in a live concert performance of Mambo No. 5, joyously accompanied by (of all people) Andre Rieu and The Johann Strauss Orchestra:

That evil-earwig ABOMINATION is his ringtone!? I have now lost any shred of respect that I might have had for Adam!

These kids are such brats! It would never have occurred to me to take my parents’ stuff.
And yes, I know it’s just a cartoon.
