I see that today’s strip is dated 2016. Yet another repeat but they’re still good.

Red is certainly ready, Rover.

Scraped knees and elbows just go with the territory!

Personally, I can’t wait for Red and Rover’s Summer fun!

The beginning of summer break always seemed to take forever, then the beginning of school always came to fast, but in the end they always balanced out. Yip yip yip yip yip

Brick skateboard wheels & gravel, scraped knees, toes, and elbows …. memories!

I am ready! Popsicle Pete, Estes rockets, Twins in the pool. Oh, can’t forget Zeke and Rueben. What a great cast for summer fun.

Mine was always the first sunburn. Now I’m paying for it literally. Can you say melanoma?

Another school year over and he has still not grown into his jeans.

Yay! My grandson graduates next week! On to college in August!

Three Weeks? THREE WEEKS?? School was out last Thursday here.

Rover is one happy doggie….

I remember those days, Red! Especially the week of final exams, when you had one exam in a day and had either the morning or the afternoon off.

Awww, kids – you’re the best !

Red would rather treat his wounded knee than learn about Wounded Knee.

And the best part, Rover, is that you and Red will be together for the summer …… :)

A quick bike ride should take care of that.

Get your bare feet on the cool grass and you’ll very soon be fine.
