Here in central NY state, today would be perfect for an afternoon hammock nap. Sun shining, a nice breeze, lower 70’s.

AmTrak overnight first class sleepers have a nice rocking motion enroute.

I can confirm the hammock thing. I once had a swing bed and it was pure peaceful bliss to be be rocked to sleep each night. It was also conducive to other horizontal activities.

Isn’t a swinging baby chair, or even a rocker intended to lull a baby to sleep?
