Kids should not be shielded from reality it helps them develop their own opinions and thoughts on what they are seeing.

This is so relevant today.

I’d like to think the child was already exposed to an extreme minority in the shape of Maureen.

Well said Ginger. I wonder why people like her don’t feel a need to protect their kids from their gun-loving compatriots who excuse sickos who shoot up kids in schools.

I bet she can handle active shooter drills just fine because they aren’t upsetting at all.
