Though not a balcony, the fence between the “star crossed lovers” in P1 and 2 is a nice touch. In P3, Hernandez looks like a bad guy in a Steven Seagal movie.

In all reality Luke ,my Dad & Mom banished Jamie and I to work in a sweatshop for many years . If it wasn’t for Henry taking over this strip we’d still be there. Yeah , that Henry is a righteous dude , his new comic book is coming out soon. Hope he comes to the Central City Comic Con !

P-2.5: Pedro quits the team and starts a Pool Cleaning Business. (Now you know the rest of the story and Mimi’s “How I gave up Golf & learned to love my daughter’s boyfriend” subplot.

P-3: Why Martin & Lewis never had a successor.

I thought Valley Tech was a school for well to do kids, no budget issues, etc.. They have terrible fencing damage like MHS. Kwan has figured out BHHLHM, knowing he can insult him and get away with it. I know who will be Gil’s QB this season.

Here’s another example of how the author doesn’t understand sports. He assumes that, like football teams have one starting quarterback, that baseball teams have only one starting pitcher, who’s expected to pitch all the games — unless he gets replaced by someone better. And that was the case — about 150 years ago. Now, even high school teams have multiple starting pitchers, so there’s no point in benching Pedro just to start Kwan — you can use them both! I mean, Pedro is supposed to be a pro prospect, right? With Pedro and Kwan, you could blow the Valley away! But, no. Luke’s just a psychopath, I guess. (And the romance subplot was old when Shakespeare used it in “Romeo and Juliet”.)

Has anybody thought this could be Luke’s diabolical, psychological game to get Pedro to “bring it”, a la Coach Brooks in “Miracle” threatening to bench his starting goalie - “It’s everybody’s net”.My favorite Brooksism --“You guys are playing worse every single day. Right now you’re playing like it’s next week.”

P4 “Hey Kwan, pull my finger.”

Methinks the Korean Nightmare is yanking Lukey’s chain. Has Vito set the line yet for the Kwan/Atazoonheit showdown for 2nd in the Valley? Asking for a friend.

P1- Yet another stylish uniform from VT’s full time wardrobe staff.

P2- “You got rid of all your obnoxious rings? Are you trying to look normal?”

P3- “No,no,no. 1 < fastball >, 2 < curve >,…..”

On my gosh Harry, in high school you cannot pitch the same pitcher to start in consecutive games.
