I have two that weigh 18 pounds each. One who weighs 5 pounds. One 7, and the others between 9 and 11. I rarely get cuddles from one of the 18 pounders because he doesn’t like being picked up. The other one jumps on me. UFFDA!
Distract him with an old dot matrix printer across the room running at the same time. Fun swatting at the flying print head and fluttering paper pouring out the back. Be careful about what you print. Or have him sign a non-discloser agreement. (we know how well those work).

Judging by the litterbox I sometimes wonder if I have a bobcat. Or a lion.

The worst thing about my chronic back injury is that I can only pick up a cat in a minor emergency and pay for it in pain for weeks.

Is it wrong that I’m picturing Dan working on stuff around the house with Ric strapped to his chest via a baby carrier? ☺️
