I recall having to turn off the lights early in the evening anticipating a visit from an acquaintance who had signed up as an Amway rep but didn’t realize they were still around and doing quite well with about $9 billion annual sales. P.T. Barnum got it right… one is born every minute.
Potentially a successful salesman in the short run, but I doubt he’ll have many repeat customers. More likely they’re going to get together to form a pitchfork-and-torch-wielding mob.
