Considering that Cathy gets to go home to her bossy mother-in-law, her idea sounds pretty good.

After a long spell of unemployment, I’m starting a new job. Maybe I’ll be better relate to Cathy’s office gags once I’m working again.

I like Cathy’s plan. That way she won’t need a vacation from her vacation when she returns.

Congratulations rmleon!! I know what it’s like to be unemployed for a while, and returning is a little surreal. Ironically enough, I’m contemplating quitting (in this economy which makes me nervous) to get my life together.

Yeah hiding in the office sounds like a good idea. Then they can’t get to you to tell you you’re laid off. Congrats rmleon, I’m happy to hear that someone has found a job in this economy instead of just losing them.

I’d hide there, too, Cathy. It’s better than the cusdodian closet, though the same size

Thanks for the good wishes, everybody. I’m going to be working for a cousin who just started his own business. I’m joining mainly to help him succeed. He’s thrilled I’m coming on board. I start next week, or as soon my office is ready.
