Charlene: We used to lug a bag of photo equipment on trips...but since we got our digital camera, it all fits in the palm of one hand!! All we had to take was our laptop to download the memory card onto......zip drive to download the laptop onto...cables...cases...connectors...battery chargers.....manuals..and, TA DA! Cathy: What exactly fits in the palm of one hand? Charlene: Tip from the bell captain. Also, the chiropractor's cell number.

Just take the camera, extra batteries, and an extra card. Mess with the downloading thing when you get home.

Exactly. No one needs to see your pictures before you get home. But I guess they live in Complicatedland.

Agreed. We sometimes even forget the extra card! You can do previews on the tiny screen if you really need to!

All I took was my camera on our last trip. The cable stays in the bag. My mother in law said I absolutely had to send pictures before I got back (it was our honeymoon.) so I uploaded them to the internet at the hotel’s free internet cafe.

Seems Cathy and company always like to make easy stuff complicated.

There was not such thing as computer back on our honeymoon. We took pictures for the album. My how times have changed with technology. Now will Cathy and Irving go on vacation so I can see what it’s like. Especially by them selves. Let the out-laws spoil the dogs more. They need time to themselves.

I’ve filled up my camera with pictures before, once or twice (OK, it was an oldish digital camera). I’d want to be able to download info. And I’ve certainly run out of batteries.
