That’s is truly funny, except that at my house, my clothes are the ones hung by type (long sleeve dress shirts first, short sleve button up shirts next, collared pullovers next, collarless shirts next…then the pants start), all facing the same direction. And my sock drawer has more organization than the UN. But no, I’m not anal retentive, why do you ask?

My hubby hangs everything up. I mean EVERYTHING! Even his PJs! Drives me nuts. And everything on a separate hanger

Until I finally convinced him to put his work shirts and work pants together on one hanger so they’d be easier to find.

He’s slowly learning to do it my way. :)

Hey there’s nothing wrong with being organized. Then when you want to wear a specific shirt or pair of pants you know exactly where to find them.

You all are cracking me up! I’d love it if my husband just got his laundry in one place.

I just buy my clothes so I can hang them up by color - brown/cream (and the colors that go with brown) on one side, and black/white (and the colors that go with black) on the other. All I have to do is blindly grab at one side or the other of my closet and I’m garanteed a match!

Now I see why he married her — once you learn to speak Cathyese, you can justify anything.

ejcapulet: brown, cream, black and white are all neutral. Everything goes with all of those. I keep my pants mostly nuetral. Blue jeans, black slacks, khaki green pants, etc. so I can just focus on pretty colors and patterns for my shirts. :D

It’s cute that Iving knows what to do. I tend to wear jeans and casual shirts, so not much organization needed.

It’s funny, I dressed well enough for my wife to date me and marry me these many years ago. Ever since? …I can’t be trusted to match nuttin’. And I’m okay with that.
