Truth is, Ed is just desperate to make any sort of an appearance in his strip.

So, Ed is still driving a school bus on the first day of Summer? And he just took the school bus registered to him for an after-hours jaunt from Centerville to Cleveland and back? And airport security let someone drive a school bus up to the terminal? Sure, makes perfect sense.

“Oh, that’s OK, it gave me a chance to go get a dye job while I was waiting!”

Batty sux! He just doesn’t recall that a few weeks ago, the drivers were told their services were no longer needed. The parents are picking up all the kids. Besides, most schools are closed for Summer.

Not exactly the luxurious mode of transportation he’s used to.

How was he running late when he never stops for the kids? And Mason Jarre, The Actor, just stands out at the curb, not knowing who is going to pick him up?

Well at least Mason got his hair color back.

Apparently no comment in this strip is valid unless it’s to criticize and compare with the former strip which the writer appears to be amending.

Stealing the bus, again. Just like when he drives it to Dale Evans on Sundays. Must be nice.

Crankerbean sux royally, but you’ve gotta say one thing for Batty… he’s consistent.

If I owned the Valentine, I would show The Three Stooges shorts (the ones with Shemp Howard in it) instead of the diarrhea s*** storm that is “Lisa’s Story”
