Soap bubbles? I’ve always meant to try blowing bubbles with wax. Maybe using hydrogen.

That is exactly how my mind’s eye pictured the Overlord’s dogs in Childhood’s End.

(except I don’t remember if the Overlords had pets. Oh well)

    Calgon…take me away….

Wash away all the troubled bubbles and evil floating poppers, surrounding my aura….turn the lights down low and let me bask in the darkness, gathering my silly thoughts, and light my candles all aglow….so as to reflect on the stressful week….and a dry martini with two olives, and a bag of Kettle chips! Off I go!

There’s considerable energy bound up in each bubble. Two 4 year olds can power an entire city and have time to watch cartoons.

Put it in a gallery and call it dreamscape art. I think of Kay Sage in the AIC, but this pretzel-dog is a different animal from her cool scapes.

And isn’t Bubbles an “exotic dancer”? —Who teased behind a covering of big soap bubbles?

Meanwhile, the vertically displayed lizard at the right edge recalls the mascot/emblem of the festival in the town where I worked Back When….
