None of them look comfortable to me. Even the flip-flops that are so popular, hurt my feet and make people walk badly. Where are the sneakers that were so popular in the 80’s? Even career women would wear their sneakers to walk to work and then change at the office.

This may be an old strip, but it still stands true today for women’s footwear. Wait till Cathy finds out she’ll have to wear stilettos to be in fashion for the next 10 years.

And where can I find those cute embellished jeans in the first panel?

summerdog, try the thrift shops, I found a pair there. ;) It’s sneakers all the way for me. I wear something fancy only if we’re going somewhere fancy. I do have my nice pair of shoes for going out though, but they’re comfy. I wore a pair of flip flops all summer once and when it was time to wear my sneaks, my feet were hurt so bad! Never again!

Have you seen some of the new styles for this year? Boy they make pretty feet look ugly. Now how does that attract men?

Thank goodness that as a stay-at-home mom, I was able to give up painful, uncomfortable office “style” for the comfort of jeans and tennis shoes years ago!

I do the 70’s and the 90’s. But sneakers are the best!
