I didn’t get the joke, looked it up, and realised it’s another USA-only thing that few outsiders will know.

T-ball IRL.

I grew up before t-ball, and did not believe my wife when she told me what she was signing our child up for.

Interesting. I am 66 and I knew about T-ball for as long as I can remember. Versions of it have been around since the 1950s.

Poor daddy is clueless.

T-ball is the entry level drug into boys Little League baseball and girls travel softball.
