She should be dealing with life, but once again goes overboard on other things. Sure, the dog is important and needs attention, but it can wait a couple of minutes to check the mail.

That’s because Electra, unlike everything else that Cathy puts off, won’t simply go away until Cathy feels like dealing with her. She’ll keep at it and keep at it, giving Cathy no choice but to address Electra’s needs NOW!!
