Your really nice poles should be stored at your bank in the pole vault.

It’s hard to get (buy) a new bank account when you’re out of money.

I think the pole has been taking lessons from the elevator

Fella was walking down the street with a 13-foot pole. Somebody walks up to him and asks, “Are you a pole vaulter?” He says, “No, I’m a Svede, but how did you know my name vas Valter?”
