What a coincidence, Mabel! (Yes, that’s her name. Sadly, I looked it up.) Sooner or later, we all rue the day we thought we want to understand Cathy…p.s. Before someone claims that all women do this, what Cathy is doing is NOT typical! Do not start the lame stereotypes! I will do a price comparison and sometimes read reviews, but other than that, I just buy it. Aack!Good morning, AaronClaus! Please don’t censor what you say – I love your posts. :-) Hello to Susan, gmforde, lindz.coop, yentlsoup, nannygram, O-Kay, Nancy and rgcviper (my favorite car!) and all the other Cathy nuts!Good afternoon, GsMom (welcome back, we missed you!) and Billy Kringle! KFG, love your new translation of KFG. :-) As usual, you were totally cracking me up yesterday! LOL!

It looks like a possible jewelry box to me. The bottom likely has a stamp that says Made in China or Made in Taiwan. Therefore they’re a dime a dozen. You should buy this one. Then you can use yesterdays “romance” to spend some quality time with Irving. Don’t make me grrrrr you again today, Cathy. Sigh.

Deciding what to do with my day. Maybe lunch with the day crew at the fire house. I don’t do home-alone very well, and you’ve already heard Billy say the same.

Morning lightenup I’ve been awake for a while but it’s cold out and I was snuggling under the covers with Little Muttley Beagle. Then my belly growled and he ran downstairs to the kitchen like a bullet. :-D

Morning Susan when you arrive. Morning gmforde later in the day. lindz.coop is probably in last night’s comments. Hello Cathyites Still dunno what we’re gonna do with that girl. She defies the stereotype lightenup and I don’t do that anyway. I get judged enough just being me. :-( Loved ‘seeing’ you yesterday Mom! KFG was a riot last night. Lived up to my misspelled name though. Ha! Too funny.

Sadly, I judge products by price too much. If it’s too expensive, I’ll think it’s too luxurious to buy. If it’s too cheap, I’ll think it’s too low quality. I’m ashamed of doing this, lol.

I thought about that for a minute or two when I went to bed last night. I don’t mind toning it down. I like that we’re ‘tight’ but I do wonder if we’re scarring people away.

If I see what I consider the perfect gift for someone and it’s not too terribly expensive (but not too cheap either!), then I just go ahead, buy it and say “There! Done”! nannygram is absolutely right . . . who on Earth really has the time to shop like this?!?!? Cathy’s just plain nuts! (Aaron, I did your eye roll for you on this one until your “bionic eye” gets to the point where you can go back to doing it on your own!)

    ;-)

Good afternoon, AaronClaus, Billy Kringle, lightenup, K.F.G. and all the rest of the Cathy fanatics joining us here today! I, too, hope no one gets scared off by all our friendly “hi’s” and banter we’ve got going on here. Some of us comment every day and have been doing so for several months now so it feels like we’re all “friends” even though we’ve never met (except for AaronClaus and Billy Kringle, that is). But we’re all just one big, happy, friendly Cathy “family” so please, feel free to jump in and join us anytime!!!!! The more people comment, the more we can have fun and play off each other. Good times!!!!!

    ;-)

I guess the obligatory eye roll is just a part of every “Cathy” comic. And I wouldn’t have it any other way..Thanks for the greeting, lightenup—and good taste in cars! Hello also to all the other “Cathy” nuts roaming around here today/tonight.

Good evening to Aaronclaus and the rest of the gang! Sorry I didn’t get on earlier. My email notice never made it to my inbox today. I know, it’s no excuse! @lightenup, women and men do this stuff all the time. Even I’m guilty of it. lol Trouble is, if she comes back to get the item, it might be gone.

Wow, a conditional sorta kinda maybe sale. I bet Mabel (thanks lightenup for that tidbit) has never heard that one. There are two things I like a lot – being a guy with some common sense, a credit card, and online shopping. Well okay, three things.

Later than usual tonight. Friend Aaron made a really good ham & cheese quiche that begged for a second helping. Most of his recipes are in his head, but I’m quietly taking notes. They are also several hundred years old, originating in Quebec Province, Canada.

I’m thankfull for all you nice folks. Getting home, having dinner, and then reading comics, especially Cathy, is such a treat. I just read the bit about LMB taking off like a bullet this morning when Aaron’s tummy growled. Little Muttley Beagle wouldn’t have been hungry yet because I feed him and Aaron gets to give him treats. Pavlov’s dogs, eat your heart out. :-D

Hi to all Cathyites!! I’ve heard the new trick is to go into the store, have the salesclerk tell you all there is to know about a product, take a picture of the bar code and then go check all over town and online for a better price. I’m a therapist, and I may be seeing many new (salesfolks) clients after the Happy …. season if this is really the case.
