A nut job twofer today. Note the diet soda. Well, at least she burned .014872 grams of calories by running to the kitchen. And the gray pattern seems to be a regular member of the cast now.
I guess we all have a particular favorite thing (or two) that’s just like “crack” when it comes to our sweet tooth. Cathy has her Christmas cookies (and whatever else!) . . . and I have M&M’s and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!!!!! We find that temptation is more easily resisted when that kind of stuff just isn’t kept in our house at all. So sad but definitely much better for the waistline!

I’ll be kinder to Cathy than usual. We too have Christmas cookies in the freezer, font and center, with various Christmas breads and flavored butters. Back away Cathy—mine mine mine! Whoo, that was close.

Friend Aaron will come home to a reorganized office tomorrow. I went out and bought one of those 3′×3′ cube organizers and even sprang for 5 of the fabric baskets that are ready-made for it. Not sure how I feel about supporting Martha Stewart but there you go. About a half hour of assembly. Now we can take small boxes spread along one wall and actually put stuff away. We’ve only been in DC since 2003. Why rush. We’re men. We either move at the speed of sound or not at all. :-D
