Healey will be the next to leave.

He didn’t work there. He drew a paycheck. He was asked to work and didn’t like it.

How many people work here? About half.

He probably hid in the back and quit when the owner finally tracked him down.

He got tired of being ignored!

He almost started to do something and knew it was time to leave before it became a habit.

The boss has 6 employees but only 3 workers.

I worked at local home goods department store while in college in their fine jewelry department for the 3 years I went to college (came in with credits from high school college class, went summers and graduated a year early).

When I gave notice that I was leaving as I had graduated and found a job in accounting – my college major – they were bending over backwards to keep me there – including offering me a job in THEIR accounting department. I guess they liked my work.
