Can’t she eat at the same time they have their food? Either way, she needs to stop looking in opposite directions because she’s making my eyes hurt. Try that eye roll where your eyes are going on opposite directions! Cathy wins! ;-)Good morning, Susan and Aaron! Hello to GsMom, Billy, KFG, gmforde, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!

Another eye roll from Cathy (last panel). LMB hasn’t learned yet to beg at the table and never will — he gets his treats at appropriate times and does fine with his NotPeople Food. 10:30 a.m. and still not ready to sleep yet. All wound up and no place to go. Sigh. Morning Susan, gmforde and lightenup already here. Pretty bad when even gmforde beats me here. Morning Mona when you arrive. :-) As for the late night posts last night, You guys rock my world. I didn’t expect the level of kindness Billy and I are getting here. Nice. And wow. :-D Calling all KFGs

We’ve never had this problem with our dog. She’s 10 years old and from day one when we brought her home as a puppy, as "leaders of the pack”, we’ve eaten first and she’s eaten last (per advice from professional dog trainers), she’s never been fed from our plates, and she only eats dog food when she is fed. Given that fact, she knows it wouldn’t do any good to look at us with big, brown, hungry, pleading eyes so she doesn’t. Most of the time, she just lays on the couch and naps until it’s her turn to eat. She is such a good girl!!! We couldn’t have asked for better!!!!!

Good afternoon, Aaron, Dr. Billy, lightenup, K.F.G. (wherever you are!), Susan, puppybreath, rgcviper, summerdog, gmforde, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, Mona, hendelca, lindz.coop and all the rest of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here today. Good to “see” you all! :-)

Well Aaron isn’t 100% that LMB is a little angel at supper time. He’s got an affinity for a small handful of Cheerios. What Aaron doesn’t know won’t hurt anybody. ;-D

I have to echo what Aaron said this a.m. I just now read the late overnight posts. Can’t say I’m stunned, but I am very thankful that your kindess is so evident. You really do rock our world. :-)

Well, Cathy, you can’t say the diet isn’t effective.

    Hello, everyone!

Hello to you too. Unfortunately, Cathy being Cathy, I am sure she will find away around this diet too – no matter how effective it is now! @Aaron – thanks for the big welcome back. Although it was an extremely busy week, I still missed my daily dose of Cathy and friends (especially the friends!) @lightenup It is a variety show with all local talent (and it never ceases to amaze me how much talent can exist in a small town). The show celebrated its (or it’s – I can NEVER remember which is which) 39th anniversary this year. The comedy is all written by local people and the performers, both comedy and musical, range in age from 5 to 78ish (she won’t give her actual age but she was 74 when she first sang on our stage and that was 4 years ago (I think).

Hi Cathyites!! Aw Cathy — you could share a little. Our current crop of cats hangs out in the kitchen while we’re cooking chicken, but gets lost while we eat. They know we usually give them something either before or after we eat and that seems to solve the problem of begging at the table.

We did have one cat that absolutely loved Kahlua and came running everytime the bottle was opened. He also really liked vanilla ice cream and got to lick the sticks if we had ice cream on a stick.
