Maybe that’ll be part of our end-of-school celebration, giving her an account. She’ll love it. Wow, lightenup must not have been awake yet. I can’t believe she let Aaron’s smart-a$$ remark go by.

Hello fellow Cathyites.

What does Cathy mean she wasn’t told her biological clock was ticking away . . . that she needed to “seize the moment” . . . that “today was the first day of the rest of her life” . . . that “life wasn’t a dress rehearsal” . . . yadda, yadda, yadda?! All this and more has been preached to her ad nauseum for years by her mother! She’s constantly on Cathy’s back, wanting her to get married to somebody — anybody! — and squeeze out some grandchildren for her before it’s too late. But I guess Cathy’s been too busy working to notice and has just been letting her mother’s “words of wisdom” regarding life go in one ear and out the other, not letting that particular “train” stop at any stations in-between inside her head. Now all of a sudden, it’s a big emergency because time is finally running out. Maybe if Cathy hadn’t been so busy nitpicking and finding fault with every man she’s ever gone out with, she might have gotten married and had a couple of kids by now! [HUGE eyeroll here!]

We’ve got a really nice group hanging out here and we’ll do our best to protect your baby girl from anyone who comes here and thinks they’re going to turn our sweet little corner of the Go Comics universe into another mean-spirited place (like FBoFW, for instance). You’ve seen how fast I jump to the defense of my friends here and your little one won’t be any different! Anyone having the nerve to be mean to her is like attacking me so they’d better just WATCH OUT!!!!! I don’t show much mercy to people who aren’t NICE!!!!! ;-)

I too look forward to the perspective of another generation on the Cathy corner — welcome l jr.

Oops almost forgot — hendelca if you are interested — the film “First Position,” is really worth seeing. I went with a group of dancers yesterday and the dancing by the really young kids is simply unbelievable.
