I had some aunts who were like that. None of my girlfriends were good enough for me. It’s a good thing I never listend to them.

Wow, no wonder poor Cathy is so nutty. Her mom thinks she’s doing something good, but really she’s making a mess out of her daughter. My neighbor thinks her kids are so good looking (they’re average) that she tells them this all the time. Now if you tell the boy (5 years old) that he looks good, he just says “I know”. Ugh…Good morning, legaleagle, runar, Violet Bay, Susan and Aaron! I’m glad you enjoyed your vacation, Aaron!Hello to GsMom, Billy, KFG, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, gmforde, soonergal, lippyfish and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!

    & @Violet Bay

My parents both always got along very well with my girlfriends. I remember one time when I was visiting my parents with a girlfriend and was feeling a bit under the weather that my mother told us that sex was supposed to be a good way to fend off that particular complaint.

Alrighty then. Cathy’s mom is no longer Queen Nut Job Supreme. She’s full on Queen Whack Job Supreme Ultimate. What does “you’re too good for Irving, Alex and him him him him” even mean? I’m guessing that she’s ‘too good’ for Everybody then. Well, Everybody will not beat a path to her door. You want grandchildren gramma nut bag? Get over yourself.

    hi mom!

I say we get together and take Cathy’s mom down. Yeah Mom! I can definitely see how she makes your head hurt. This is about as weird as I’ve seen her. Not good.

LOL Aaron’s comment. Can’t argue with it though.

A bit of peach cobbler anyone?

A bit warm out, so it’s a good night to play hockey. Billy on Ice — available at a rink near you. :-D

And the headache that began yesterday with all the eye rolling Cathy’s mother made me do continues yet again today — only now it’s worse! No wonder Cathy is so picky and always finding fault with the guys she goes out with . . . her mother’s words “You’re too good for him!” have been said to her so much for so long that she obviously believes it herself! Given her mother’s low opinion that Irving wasn’t good enough for her daughter, it’s a wonder Cathy and Irving ever (finally) got married! I guess the yearning for kids / grandkids before it became too late was just so strong that “Mr. Not Good Enough” turned out to be just good enough after all!

    ;-)

HI, AARON & DR. BILLY! :-)

Dr. Billy: Yum!!! Peach cobbler! Looks absolutely delicious!!!!! Got any leftovers? Because now I’m REALLY in the mood for some peach cobbler!!!!! ;-)

Good evening, lightenup, K.F.G., Susan, lindz.coop, hendelca, rgcviper, gmforde, serenasakitty, kittycatpawsare, soonergal, Gator007, legaleagle48, FinnyGirl, runar, Violet and all the REST of the “Cathy” fanatics joining us here tonight. As always, good to “see” you all!

Yup—I’d say Queen Nut-job is officially back.

(And I’m not referring to Cathy …)

Hi Cathyites!! Wow — as a therapist, I think I’m beginning to see the problem. Put Mom on the couch, give Cathy some time to find a “suitable” boyfriend.

Sorry, can’t roll my eyes — I had such pain that I went to the eye-doctor today and discovered that I had a “laceration” in my eyeball. And I have no idea how it happened. Nothing serious, but boy it hurt when they put the gunk in. Now my eye will be dilated until tomorrow night.
