I vote that we hire a hit man to take Irving out. Anyone with me? Or I could show Irving my abs which would make him faint dead away. I don’t work out. I just carry hundred pound packs or hoses several times a week.

I of the ‘flat tummy’, who plays soccer, basketball, hockey, street hockey, and takes long walks with Little Muttley Beagle cannot relate to Irving. Irving is cut peeled shredded chiseled and ripped but his abs never will be.

HA!!!!! What a joke — and not a funny one either!!!!! It is a proven fact that once a woman hits Cathy’s age (over 40, approaching menopause and dealing with a slower metabolism than she used to have) it gets harder and harder to lose the weight that keeps creeping on more and more as time goes by despite the fact that we’re constantly dieting and exercising like crazy in order to try and take control of changing bodies that have no interest whatsoever in cooperating with us!!!!! Susan is soooooo right . . . Irving’s a real “drama king” indeed!!!!!

When I first read the second panel, I did a double-take since I thought the repeated word was one letter different. (Use your imagination.) When I re-read, though, I realized it was “ABS” and not … you know.

Another thought: In the final panel, Cathy just as easily could’ve said “25,000th rep of rolling the eyes”, couldn’t she have?

I’m in for taking Irving out!! Great idea Aaron. And you’re so right rgcviper about the eye-rolling. I would have liked to see what “poor Irving” went through while Cathy was pregnant, but alas, we will never know.
