Cathy: You're supposed to buy swimwear early in the day before your body settles into its actual shape, Irving. Irving: What? Cathy: The morning body is light and tight. The afternoon body is a resigned blob. No woman would willingly put on a swimsuit in the afternoon! Irving: How are you supposed to swim? Cathy: If it were up to us, all swimming would take place before 9:00am.

I must be slipping away into my Cathy-coma. What she’s saying is making sense. No, not entirely, but swimming before 9:00 a.m. is not nuts.
When I got up, LMB was sitting on the bottom stair, waiting for his buddy to come through the door as usual. I think it’s a smuggling day when we go visit this morning.
I’ve also printed out yesterday’s comments so he and Gabe can see how you all feel. Bless you all.

On the practical side, it would save $, but neither one of them could be accused of that!
Hi lightenup, lightenupjr, GretchensMom, SUSAN NEWMAN, Billy, Aaron, and all Cathyites out there.
It’s storming here, and Chance hates it. He just paces and growls.
Lightenupjr, have you started your job? That would be a fun one. My first one was watering my neighbor’s garden while they were on vacation.
Aaron, your first greeting to me was about my “invisible hand on your shoulder”. I hope you can feel it now, ‘cause it’s there, with good, very positive thoughts.
Billy, thanks for the updates, and keep ’em coming. Good lucktaking LMB. Hope you post another picture of him soon.Take care of yourself!

I agree, Billy! It oddly made “sense” to me too! But then again, I’ve never been much of a water enthusiast, so if I only have to go swimming before 9am, that’s fine with me. I guess being a Capricorn (happy with my feet on the ground, climbing mountains) suits me.Thanks for the update, Billy! Poor little, LMB, waiting for his buddy to come home… breaks my heart. Please give him an extra belly rub for me. I hope you’re able to smuggle him in to see Aaron; I’m sure it’ll do them both good. Please let us know how Aaron and Gabe are doing today. We all hope that they’re both improving and their spirits are good. I’ve been thinking about them a lot and send my best wishes for a recovery that amazes everyone. Hugs to all!!!Good morning to Willi Nilli and serenasakitty (and most likely Susan has joined us since I started this post)! @ Willi Nilli – I’ll get jr on the computer today, hopefully. Wednesdays are our busiest days (even in the summer), so yesterday didn’t work out too well. Thanks for asking about her though!Hello to GsMom, rgcviper, lindz.coop, hendelca, Mona, kittycatpawsare, gmforde, soonergal, lippyfish, Mai Tai and all the other Cathy nuts rolling around here today!

MORNING ALL, swimming before 9 am is usually a chilly undertaking, not enough sun yet and hard to get that coffee down first, will find out this month with a trip to Florida..Navarre beach is calling me!! Aaron and Gabe continue your healing as best you can, thinking of you every day!!

I have a feeling LMB will get to see his bud somehow. Maybe LMB can pass on a few kisses and good wishes from all of us!

Hmmmmm . . . while it’s probably been 5 or 6 years since I was last in a bathing suit for any reason (swimming, hot tub), I’d swear that I looked exactly the same in the morning as I did in the evening (and vice versa!). But then, maybe that’s just me!?
Dr. Billy: Thanks so much for the continued updates on Aaron’s progress. Poor LMB!!!!! Your description of him sitting there, patiently waiting for his other BFF to come through the front door (as is their regular morning ritual) just about broke my heart! Hope you got to smuggle him into the hospital to see Aaron today without any trouble. Being able to see each other would do BOTH of them a world of good!!!!! Hospitals really should change their rules and allow certain kinds of pets (like dogs and cats) to visit their “parents” in situations like this. I don’t know what it could hurt. It would make the pet happy seeing their human friend and if it lifts the patient’s spirits, enabling them to get better faster, then it’s a win-win situation for everyone involved!

Susan it is possible. I put our little guy into my backpack and smuggle him in. I took him in on Tuesday and again today. As I was leaving the head nurse informed me (with a sly smile) that I was fooling nobody. LMB popped his head out and gave her a smooch as a reward.

Love Cathy’s … wait for it … eye-roll in the third panel, with the tongue out, no less!
Hello to Aaron and Gabe. We really miss you here on GoComics, and send you both wishes for full recoveries. We’re behind you 110%!
Greetings to everyone else as well.

Hi Cathyites!!If all swimming took place before 9:00 am, I would never swim (unless I could do it in bed). Sleeping late these days. Billy — I’m so glad you can manage to get LMB into the hospital to take care of his good buddy Aaron. Bless that nurse for not blowing the whistle — and aptly rewarded she was ;)>
