(25 min…) Jr and I were looking online for birthday gifts for Lil, or else I would have commented sooner. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to sleep in today even though it was the first morning I could have (had to get up early for camps previously). Even though I talked about it last night and told the girls to be quiet in the morning because I needed sleep, they actually got up earlier than they do for school and woke me up. Supper is done. The sun is hot so Aaron and our folks are going to find a shady spot while I play some soccer.

Later in the week (Thursday is the plan) we’re heading home to NH for at least a couple weeks. I may come back after my days off to keep working. The slightly cooler climate may help Aaron heal better than hot/muggy DC.

As nutty and nitpicky as Cathy can be about things sometimes — especially when it comes to men — I think the question “What was I thinking??!” should have come from HER in this instance . . . about YOU, Irving!!!!!

I don’t know what’s worse . . . Irving being so obsessed about his body now . . . or all the electronic gadgets he’ll be so obsessed about later on?!?!? Again, what was she thinking??!!

B/t/w: what are “intercoastals” referring to in this context anyhow??? Dictionary.com just gave the definition as: “existing or done between seacoasts; involving two or more seacoasts” and that was it.

Aaron! Absolutely loved your Schwarzenegger/Terminator “I’ll be bach” line from yesterday! I’ve got all 4 Terminator movies in my little dvd movie collection (did I or didn’t I see him in an uncredited cameo towards the end in the 4th one?) but probably my most favorite Ahnuld movie has to be “Kindergarten Cop”! Have you seen that one? Brain tumor? Nope!!! Just a terrible kindergarten-causing headache instead!!!!! ;-)

I’ve got to take my mom to a new doctor tomorrow afternoon (nothing serious though!) then I have to visit an elderly aunt of mine in the hospital tomorrow evening so I may or may not make it here to “see” everyone before the end of the day. In the event that happens, I’ll be thinking about you all and I’ll definitely be back on Wednesday (at least as far as I know right now anyhow!).

Don’t know what’s up with all those italicized words in that one above paragraph! I certainly didn’t do it on purpose but when I pasted it (after previously copying before submitting), I couldn’t see where the problem was in order to correct it! Oh, well. Stupid computer . . . or stupid me? YOU be the judge!!!!! ;-)

Mom! the intercoastal muscles are between the ribs and the wall of your chest. Somewhat easy to strain them — kinda feels like someone squeezed you too hard.

As for the italics part, KFG used to get that all the time. I haven’t been able to recreate it so it’s a mystery to me. HTML gone awry somewhere.
