Morning Susan and lightenup Afternoon Bronzepony and AnonaMona. Hope all is well. LMB and I have been over at GWU to visit friends who are back after the summer. Except for the million weeks that Billy and I were apart, summer sure did go by.

He’s happy and she’s not. That’s rubbing it in all right. Good morning all. Hope your day is great!

I can’t remember who said it, but I remember once reading that “ex-lovers make the best kind of friends”. It’s certainly a happier end to a relationship than wanting never to speak to them again!

So, Cathy – take it as a warm compliment that he wants a friend to share his happiness on this big day in his life. Either go or don’t – depending on the wardrobe – but thank him with a smile, and wish him well for the future.

Might be an idea not to chat for long with the new bride, though.

If Cathy would put herself in his shoes, I bet she’d admit that she would invite old boyfriends to HER wedding. Alex’s invitation may actually be purely a friendship thing, but hers wouldn’t be! Afternoon, Cathy clan!

Hi rest of the Cathyites!! “Men are just sick” because they want to be friends and want you to be happy?!? That’s pretty nutty alright!! I think she’s probably just acting out how nervous any of us would be if an old boy/girlfriend asked us to their wedding when we hadn’t seen them in years. I bet it’s a bit of a shockeroonie.
