There’s the comic where Fat Freddy’s Cat is at the door repeatedly calling “Me out! Prowl now!” Freddy finally catches on that he wants to go out, where he tells his cat friends “I swear, they’re so stupid, they don’t understand you when you talk to them in their own language!”
