My headcanon is every recipe Amanda makes has tots in it… Egg and tots… Egg, bacon, and tots… Egg, bacon, sausage, and tots… Tots, bacon, sausage, and tots… Tots, egg, tots, tots, bacon, and tots… “Tots, Tots, Tots, Tots… Lovely Tots! Wonderful Tots!”

Now I have a hankering for tots.

A few passes across the top with the butane torch, crème Brule style, might be a nice touch. Don’t let screaming of the the smoke detectors throw your technique.

Aaaah yes, tater tots…never knew there were crispy crowns ones. Amanda you make some of my best memories pop up. Lovely

Being a native Midwesterner (from Missouri), I applaud you, Amanda. I love that you made a case for crowns versus tots. That shows what a discerning cook you are. And Dan should have known better.

Recipe! Recipe!! Sounds good. Unfortunately, we don’t have Crispy Crowns in Arizona. We have several different kinds of tater tots, so my have to experiment to find the ones that stay crispy in the mushroom soup! But, will definitely need this recipe!
