Bags and bags of carefree childhood bliss...Anticipation so strong the sealed packages can't contain it...Microscopic happiness particles swirling around, taking us back, luring us forward...A reminder of innocence. A reconnection to joy. October's beautiful, reassuring gift: Orange leaves. Chocolate air.

Looks like Cathy ate all the candy she mentioned, and gained 30 lbs from P1 to P5.

I love autumn and chocolate (I even tell my kids that I’m made of chocolate because I smell like it so much), but I’ve never smelled chocolate in the autumn air. Interesting observation, Cathy…Hello Susan, rgcviper the black cat, summer dog, mar mar and Molly! Not many commenters today, but that’s okay.I agree, Susan, I also miss Aaron and Billy and wish they would post to let us know what’s going on. I really hope it’s nothing serious, and that they just went on vacation. That’s the big downside of Internet friendships – if your virtual friend is ill, there’s nobody to tell you, and you can’t pop next door with a cup of chicken soup.

Hi Cathyites!! I’m with Cathy — what could be better than autumn leaves and chocolate — deep dark chocolate that is. Missing some of our “family” members — hope it’s just a computer glich.
