Cathy (from phone): I found a fabulous sweater coat that I put on hold, mom! Mom: Tell me all about it, Cathy! Cathy (from phone): It's so wonderful! Great-looking...cuddly...fun...I'm going to see it again after work and if I still like it I'll take it home and introduce it to my other clothes...If it works, I might bring it for Thanksgiving dinner! Mom: Your father and I can't wait to meet it! Whoever said life isn't a dress rehearsal didn't have an unmarried daughter.

I could sorta follow along, until she got to “introduce it to my other clothes”. Is it like, “SweaterCoat, this is LeatherJacket and CashmereTwinset. Feel free to get to know each other, while I go out with TweedSkirt and MockTurtleneck.”Good morning, Susan! Hello to the rest of the clan! I hope you all are having a nice day!@ catucopiasarge – I’ve been there many times – a beautiful area! I hope you had a good time!

I feel this way about my clothes, my shoes, my jewelry, my purses…..I just don’t say it out loud.

Cathy may be on the right track. At least a fabulous sweater coat, if she takes it home, will be there for her whenever she needs it. But then again, there may come a day when it tells her (without words) that she looks fat. Dang it, you can’t even trust a sweater coat to be the perfect companion.Good day to the Cathy Clan!

Many years ago I was given some money for my birthday, and I bought an all-wool coat. It was a lovely blue, had a nice collar, fitted well.
I wore it once . . . and then went back to my warm and washable ones.

Hi Cathyites!! I suppose she could carry this one step further and find out if they are compatible before she takes the tags off and decides to keep them.
