Hubby was turning in composted cow manure into the garden. Sherwood spaniel was digging down in it so far that his butt and tail stuck straight up in the air. When he resurfaced, his expression—-glazed with delight and I could see the thought bubble: “Wow! Dad’s digging in the poop with me. Could life get any better?”
When I was young and foolish (well, more foolish than now)… I tried some of those nifty martial arts weapons (it was the rage when I was in college)… but I always ended up damaging myself more than my opponents so I gave it up.

A bo resembles a broomstick without the broom part attached, if anyone wonders about the usual size of them.
