This didn’t quite age well…

There is a Blockbuster video… if you’re camping in Oregon.

I miss stopping at Blockbuster with my son after picking him up from school on Fridays.

I love how quaint things appear in this comic — Blockbuster Video, paper map. How quickly things change.

What’s Blockbuster Video?

Now I’d say there’s a 50/50 chance there’s at least one Starbucks in the campground.

The March of Time. About a dozen years later, maps were put on your cell phone. I also have a working slide rule and an abacus on my iPhone. I wonder what’s next?

Time moves on.. now, you would have trouble finding a Blockbuster outlet.. or a machine to play the video.

There’s probably a bunch of condominiums there now.

There is still one Blockbuster (or at least there was a couple years ago) somewhere in eastern Oregon.

In the last days of Blockbuster they really went all out trying to get more business, but to no avail

The nearest old Blockbuster store here is now a payday loan place.

I seriously miss paper maps. Electronic takes way too much effort to shift scale from general to fine; paper you could do it without even thinking about it.

Curse you, Netflix.

Change occurs in everything and sometimes at an increasing rate.

Enjoy nature while you have a chance, before they pave paradise and put up a parking lot! Who said that, the Beatles?

When this strip was drawn, the Mid-90s were only 7 years ago

My family has cabin in a tiny resort town in the middle of Michigan. It’s not a Blockbuster but the general store rents DVDs. There’s little to no internet access out there, so no streaming.

Maybe there is a Blockbuster on the map from the 90’s. It won’t be there now.
