Doesn’t. Get rid of it all. If you need it again, get it again. Simple.

I have two boxes of cables none of which I have touched in over 10 years. I’d like to toss them out but I’m convinced I’ll need one of them again the very next day.

My big coffee can of saved screws. Always handy! (Inherited my dad’s too – my back up and yet to be used)

I finally finished moving from a house my family lived in for 30 years. Next step, sort the boxes I brought over that didn’t end up in the dumpster.

How can you know if you’ll miss it, if you don’t know what the heck it is??!!!!!! :)

Truth.

we paid to move boxes of my wife’s parents’ junk because we didn’t have time to sort through it before moving to a new location. we eventually ended up throwing most of it away and i cursed every time we drove to the clean center…

totally feel this one
