Rev should read his Bible more carefully. Our Lord could’ve taken the easy way out, but chose to do what was right, despite the consequences. That’s called leadership.
I’ve used the coin toss for decades, with one difference: my immediate emotional reaction to the results of the coin toss determines my action, not the coin toss itself. This has worked surprisingly well for me.
Seems to me the Rev is missing the point of WWJD. I always assumed the question was based on Jesus being a paragon of virtue and morality, so asking yourself the question should lead you to a correct moral or ethical decision. I am with the Rev when it comes to having doubts about relying on His abilities as a decision-maker, but for a slightly different reason. If His fate was predetermined, it’s unlikely He ever had an opportunity to make decisions for Himself and learn from them.
