It’s weird. There’s a subpopulation off Spain and Portugal which has decided to attack boat rudders. If the people go in the water, the Orcas leave them alone because they have a very specific diet (these eat Bluefin Tuna). If one attacks the boat, the best thing to do is move away because they most likely won’t leave the feeding ground.
And other Orcas aren’t learning this behaviour ~ apparently, the different subpopulations speak different languages.
