No, that’s not going to happen. The communist Soviets had their day and now they are on the trash heap of history. Russia now is effectively a dictatorship with Putin in command. What’s in store for the future is anyone’s guesses for grabs. Putin is damaged goods now, especially so since Prigozhin started his shenanigans. Soon or later, he’s going to be removed, the only question is who will replace him and will the Russian people have any say in it. For the last 30+ years the Russian populace has had a taste of what life is like under a capitalist Republic economy which has made their lifestyle far and away better than under the Soviet communist regime. They also have a dim view of the oligarchs and are fully aware of how deep that corruption runs. One thing for sure, no way will Russia maintain its hold on Ukraine and when word gets back to the populace of the occupied lands being reclaimed by Ukraine and Crimea starts to fall, all bets are off.

This is exactly right. We don’t know to what extent this incident—if it was even that—will impact Putin.

Oops…, my bad, …at first glance, before I could read the caption, I thought Bernie Sanders and The Squad were introducing their new campaign logo…
