I do love a well-trained dog! All puppies should have obedience training. The nature of canines is to look to the Alpha in the pack. With obedience training YOU are the alpha. The dog is happy to please you, and follow your commands, and you have a wonderful companion.

He’ll find it hard to Fetch if there’s nobody to throw something and nobody to bring it back to.

(So stop trying to make Fetch happen.)
