I hate to be negative but what a boring arc. The joke on its own, again, ain’t bad, but it’s just so stock. Why was Daphne even introduced to him anyway?

5\10. Who knows what next week’s arc is. Surely not about Daphne, right? Maybe a county fair one, or one that has Francis and Teddy? Then again, Peirce might still have another one, it has been 3 weeks in a row. Who can tell with this guy anymore XD

Or they get fired.

He should work at the clam shack he can just stand there and occasionally spit at someone

Hey, I’m back… Had an overnight summer camp, but anyways, I saw the whole week, and it was pretty boring…

Strip rating: 4/10 The joke wasn’t all that funny…

Arc Review: Um- just a SPG arc- it’s a arc where SPG has a job or something and it’s just a week of him and Nate talking with a bunch of little gags

Pros: The jokes where actually pretty good and I did smile as some of them, The eyes on the shark costume is a good touch I love how they move around in every panel

Cons: Why was Daphne even introduced to SPG??? After I think Tuesday or Wednesday she played absolutely no part in the arc, it should’ve just been Francis and Teddy

Story: D+ I mean it’s a school picture guy arc what do you expect?

Jokes: A tier

Overall: A solid B

He’s interacting with the public. That’s also part of the job.

My question is how many people actually go to an expensive seafood restaurant after seeing a dude in a shark suit promoting it

…or the conversation is taking but scant five minutes…and in the mean time, old Daph is still setting up…after all the strip’s name is “Big Nate” and its about his trials and tribulations…

Guys what if Nate runs into an old girlfriend while hanging out with Daphne? Just a crazy idea. But bro this arc… At least introduce Daphne to SPG, that’d be so fresh and new. Welp whatever.

Honestly I like this arc and the joke was pretty good. I just don’t understand why Daphne was introduced to him. 7/10
