Total bull as usual. If you repay with penalties, that’s it. The only special treatment going on is trump walking around not in jail

But I don’t want to go to jail. Not on a Wednesday, anyway; too close to the weekend. Maybe on a Monday.

Hunter got treated MORE harshly than the average person who would have simply been required to pay it plus maybe a fine. Trump is guilty of far greater crimes and has faced virtually no repercussions.

It’s OK to lie if you’re a Republican.

I must have missed Skelley’s strips about Roger Stone, his very similar tax evasions and eventual penalties paid to the IRS.

Trump got how much fine for evading 10m in 2 years?

    Oh right it was $0

The main job of the IRS is collection of taxes not the locking up of people. Maybe Hunter would have paid his taxes earlier if the IRS was fully funded.

SKelley ought to be careful expecting everyone that conceals income to have prison time. He’d be one of the few left on his golf course.

Nearly everyone who makes “real” money defers a large amount of their income to pay tax on it later. And often that later never comes around. It gets shuffled into the mix. It is, in fact, concealed.

If we did, as SKelley apparently wishes, to jail all those who concealed taxes SKelley would be very lonely at his next Republican Club meeting.

Republicans want your tax dollars, someone has to pay for republican tax breaks for billionaires with planes and yachts.

Go ahead, pay ten times the amount owed in penalties and late fees, then complain.

Oh, you’d rather hire a tax attorney and make a deal? Go figure! Why would you do that, when you are griping about Biden? He didn’t get one of those deals.

Meanwhile, Mango Mussolini is claiming that what he said on the tape was just “bravado” and the plans he was referring to were simply plans for a golf course.

They love what about isms. If the ex pres son was broadcasting live on coke why wouldn’t ATF & DEA come knocking on his door. I wish everyone who speaks or writes about tRump would start their position with ‘The Emperor has no clothes!’ This sums up the truth of tRump. He has no clothes. Garak on ‘Deep Space 9"’s take is telling. When challenged about the story of ‘the boy who cried wolf’ he was told that the lesson was don’t lie or everyone will not believe you when you tell the truth – Garak says, ‘No, the lesson was if you are going to lie, never say the same lie twice." America, please learn from this. There are people we point to and say, ’How do you know if they are lying,- Their lips are moving.’ tRump is the epitome of this axiom. We can’t keep expecting a cult to wake up and turn on their leader. They will keep drinking the Koolaid even when its poison. Learn from Jim Jones. Learn from the holocaust. They already took us down the rabbit hole for 6 years. We can’t afford America to become the new Nazi Germany. My kids deserve better. Your kids do too.

Hunter was caught, fined and paid. His case is closed!

I hear TFG is in some kind(s) of trouble. How about you RWNJ ’tooners spinning some of his problems? Either you are not clever enough or the evidence of guilt is too overwhelming or the charges are too numerous and varied to attempt any kind of whitewashing… probably all the above!

You only get handcuffs if you fight it hard enough. Biden didn’t; he pled guilty and paid the bill. That’s the outcome the IRS prefers.

Funny how this toon is about Hunter, yet the trolls keep deflecting to Trump. The gun thing alone would’ve of ended in jail time for the average person, but then who’s your daddy.

The best they have is Hunter Biden. And that’s turning out to be nothing. It is emasculating for Republicans. Listen; you can hear their voices changing…back.

^ He had $8.3 million he didn’t bother paying taxes on, and he lied on the Fed form to purchase a gun. Either one of these would have you reading Go Comics in jail.

Steve Kelly persistently inserts deceitful misinformation into his “cartoons”. He does this knowing that the people who will believe his content is factual only pay attention to RWNJ media, talk radio hosts, and internet influencers who also deliberately deceive their audience, and so will never realize that they are being deliberately manipulated — not unlike trusting children led into the bedroom by an adult sexual molester.

Hundreds of people, all wealthy and/or business people, deal with the same stuff each year. How many articles have you read about them? How many have been investigated by the House of Nutjobs currently in residence? The Trump family is guilty of much worse, as Donald Jr. said in the run up to 2020, “…if we (not “dad”) don’t get reelected we are all going to prison.”
