I presume the machine is making ‘waves lapping up on the beach’ noises, and not just sneezing over and over?

If your in Vermont Monty you might want to move to higher ground

All he needs is an audio tape of Morton Freeman reading Dover Beach.

He doesn’t need to worry about sharks, salt water or riptides.

I once did a similar thing in a hotel room that had a heat lamp in the bathroom.

Ah, making the most out of a situation.

Efficient move, man. You don’t go to the ocean, you wait until the ocean comes to you. Smart!

Random thot for today. The supply of air and water on Earth is essentially constant. Whatever we’ve got now we also had 2000 years ago. And, given repeated evaporation and rainfall, to say nothing of the relentless mixing of the atmosphere with winds and all, every breath you take and every glass of water you drink contains molecules that once passed thru the body of Jesus. (Some of them came out of the body of Jesus in a manner that you may not want to reflect upon.)

So, we here (in Chicagoland) had rain on and off and even tornado warnings today, and the weather yesterday was not so different; it is also predicted to continue like this the rest of the week. Maybe I’d be tempted to try Monty’s ploy for a Beach Day!
