We just had to watch “Independence Day” yesterday. We bought the “extended” version on Amazon and had fun trying to figure out what had been edited in. We also watched the original “Jurassic Park”. We hadn’t seen either one of them in over a year, and both of them were a hoot.
We didn’t make any effort to see any fireworks, but enough of our neighbors had the illegal skyrockets that the whole neighborhood was pretty well lit up anyway. It’s a good thing that wooden roofs aren’t allowed around here.
Today I have a visit with the medical vampire at the cancer center at 10 (I’ll see my primary oncologist next week.) and then my PT session at 1. I’m supposed to learn the exercises I need to keep my hip from hurting (and then commit to doing them for the rest of my life). I know the doc said that it would be a couple of weeks before it started to hurt less, but I’m impatient and wish it would do so NOW.
We got up to 106 on the patio yesterday, 102 officially. Today’s forecast is for 106. In fact it will be 105 or 106 for the next week or so.

Happy 5th of July Vagabonds (^.^)
Another foggy morning and 59 degrees. A mix of sun and clouds with possible stray showers, high 86.
We did watch “A Capital Forth” last night. Thunder storms yesterday afternoon but by fireworks time they had passed. We stayed home and watched on TV.
Same old, same old today, nothing new and decidedly not exciting. Thrilling.
Have a happy day Vagabonds and may God bless.
